Because We Are Blessed
Today there is no lack in doing good deeds. Many are suffering as a result of our current environment, but God continues to bless many of us. So find something to do and do it, don’t laud your efforts as if you’re special, but do it as if you’re blessed to be a blessing.
Praying God’s Will
Our lives should not be centered on “getting what I want” but more importantly asking, “Lord, what do you want.” Please remember to sign up for my Zoom webinar on Depression THIS Saturday, August 15 at 10:30am. Pardon me, God!
Is it wrong to ask God questions? I’ve come to understand God a little better, I realize that, yes, it’s okay to ask God questions but we must also be ready to hear His answer.
Time to Try God
Depression can take us down to some really dark places. At some point, we have to realize that we've tried everything to save ourselves. That's when we finally realize, it's time to try God.
Shame and Depression
You're a strong Christian! You know you belong to God. So why do you feel so much shame because you are depressed?
Depression
Join Pastor Mamie Johnson for part 2 of her webinar “Trifecta of Destruction” where we will examine the root of depression and explore God’s cure.
The Aching Soul
The soul yearns for connection and there is no over the counter cure for that but there is an otherworldly solution and that solution is prayer. The soul ... the inner core of who we are is what connects us with God.
Better Days Are Coming
Life will not always be perfect or absent of trouble but our life in Christ is a blessed hope that sustains us, comforts us in distress, and assures us that there are better days to come.
Living in Hope in Christ
When you live in hope, you live in a place of possibilities and in Him, all things are possible to those who believe.
The Right Attitude
You have the power within you, the power of Christ, that will equip and empower you to accomplish not only His will but to receive blessings upon blessings.
Pray without Ceasing
Praying is as simple as talking to God and telling Him how it’s going.
The Mind of Christ
It’s time for us to re-center on Christ. As we start week two from Cox Arboretum, let’s look at how Christ gives us the ability to be like him. With intentional pursuit and surrender, he gives us new eyes and a new heart.
