Christians are held to high standards and we’re often criticized when we don’t meet another’s expectation of what we should do or be. Just because someone is a Christian doesn’t mean perfection. Just like anyone who seeks to live a life for Christ, it is a process, a constant maturing and acts of selflessness as you submit to God for the needs of others.
The Right Attitude
You have the power within you, the power of Christ, that will equip and empower you to accomplish not only His will but to receive blessings upon blessings.
Pray without Ceasing
Praying is as simple as talking to God and telling Him how it’s going.
The Mind of Christ
It’s time for us to re-center on Christ. As we start week two from Cox Arboretum, let’s look at how Christ gives us the ability to be like him. With intentional pursuit and surrender, he gives us new eyes and a new heart.

Come Close
In the quiet, God speaks. He calls us to come close and listen. God loves us enough to give us a vision of what can be possible, but we must listen for His voice in the quiet.
Fill Our Hearts with Prayer
Life has been unpredictable at best, but we can re-center ourselves on Christ by filling our hearts with prayer — the way we communicate with God, but more importantly how He communicates with us.
Listen for God’s Voice
The blessings of God’s presence can be felt in nature. When we surrender and allow God to speak to us in our quiet and silence, He will let us know what we should and should not be doing.
Seek God in Nature
Remember, God is able to redeem the time and you will find your spirit energized as we seek God in nature…
True Freedom
God doesn’t make distinctions when He offers salvation. It is not arguable, He offers salvation to all and intends it for all. It is when we practice this truth, His truth, that we will experience a true declaration of freedom!
Mind of Christ
Limited understanding and the refusal to acknowledge that we have enslaved ourselves to the patterns and thinking’s of this of the world cause self-imposed prisons.
