Possible

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God”. When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:23-26).”

The ability to endure involves both mental and physical aptitude. The mind quits well before the body especially if the task seems difficult or after you’ve assessed what it will take you decide to quit before you get started. You shake your head and move on to something less strenuous, more comfortable, more achievable but is that comfortable place that place of complacency causing you to experience unfulfilled dreams? That is where God consciousness fortifies, refusing to let you walk away, refusing to allow you to quit, telling you to trust and you will see the faithfulness of God.

Over and over again God proves His power demonstrating that He is the God of the impossible. We give up far too easily when God is saying to press forward, I’m with you, you mustn’t quit, remember what I’ve done in the past, check my record, I’ve done it before and I am more than able to do it again. Just ask Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Moses and Joshua, Noah, Deborah and Ruth, Esther and Job, King David, Daniel, and most of all Jesus the Christ Son of the living God.

The swift doesn’t always win the race nor does the strongest always win the war (Ecclesiastes 9:11). It is the one who is wise who achieves the prize. In Christ anything’s possible so just don’t quit!
