Praise HIM Always
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).”
We are hard pressed to offer praise when life is not going well. But that is exactly what we should do, praise! We aren’t praising our suffering or condition, no, we’re praising the One who comforts us in them. Going through challenging times is easier to bear when you know that the Lord is there and can alleviate the deep distress that you feel. And when you are comforted, you can then share that same comfort you received with someone else as you demonstrate the steadfast confidence you have in Christ.
