HIS Joy Sustains Us

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away (Revelation 21:4).”

Tears, we shed them in times of joy and laughter and in times of discomfort and sorrow. It is in the times of sorrow that we seek relief. Unfortunately, as we live, we will experience tears and the Lord knows and understands the hurt we feel during those times. A day is coming however when the crying will end and joy will come and remain forever. Oh God, what comfort you are when our hearts are heavy and what peace you bring as we feel your presence.
