Steadfast Hope

“We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name (Psalm 33:20-22).”

A test for the faithful servant is steadfast hope in Him. That means knowing that God is sovereign, and He controls everything. When we look back at our lives, we can see the faithfulness of the Lord. Think of the things He delivered you from, the blessings He bestowed, the prayers He answered, the comfort He brought. He was there as a Mighty soldier wielding His sword, keeping us despite our awareness of His presence. Such protection and love bring mouths filled with praise in the confidence we have as His children. Never cease to lift your voice in praise to the Savior the sufficient One who is our source and our strength, He is the source of my peace and joy!
