HIS Joy, Your Strength

“Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

Sin has a way of making you feel sorrowful and unworthy. But god knows our sins and it is the Holy Spirit that convicts us when we go against God’s will. However, it is that awareness, that check in our spirit that reminds us that God is working in us because He and He alone is whom we sin against, and it is He alone that we have hearts of repentance.
