God Loves Us Anyway

“For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone.” (Lamentations 3:31-33)

Disobedience is worthy of punishment yet even when we fail to do what is right, God still loves us. He forgives us and does not hold our sins against us because He truly loves us and it is because of the righteousness of Christ that we are not condemned. When God looks at us, He sees His Son who bore our sins hanging on that cross.
