Faith Allows You to Let Go

Lets go.png

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for (Hebrews 11:1-2).”

Faith is essential to the Christian life because it encourages us in difficult times providing strength and the ability to overcome trying times. And faith in God starts with believing in God.

Hebrews 11:1-2 speaks to the very heart of faith. In Colossians 1:5 Paul asserts that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Jesus was the visible representation of God and now sits at the right hand of God and it is faith (belief) in Him and trusting in Him that gives the confidence to believe in the things that are invisible, the things He’s spoken through His word and the plans He has for you.

Whenever you exercise your faith it grows allowing you to let go of things that bewilder and oppress you. So be sure to water your faith with study, prayer and worship. Sometimes it’s through hardship that faith grows.
