Comfort One Another
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).”
If you’ve ever experienced hard times or troubling thoughts, you seek relief and comfort. It is in these times that believers turn to God because we know that He cares about us and sometimes just hearing His name or reading His word brings comfort. So, imagine those who experience similar hard times, and they don’t know Christ. They need someone who will be with them not only telling them about Christ but showing them Christ through their love and actions.
We may not be able to alleviate the pain of others, but we can be with them just like Jesus is with us providing encouragement and hope.
