Worship and Serve the Lord

“Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span (Exodus 23:25-26).”

When the Israelites were leaving captivity God made them promises that were conditional on keeping His commandments. If they wanted to be blessed, they had to obey Him but if not, they could be assured curses would follow. Thank God for the New Covenant through His Son Jesus Christ. It is because of Him, God allows us the opportunity to repent and return to Him not because of our obedience but because of His loving grace.

God will always do what He says He will do but He wants something in return. May your service to God be done out of love and what He's already done for you.
