God’s Love is A Good and Perfect Gift

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows (James 1:17).”

When it comes to gift giving to those who hold a special place in our hearts we take extra time looking for that perfect gift. Perfect suggests that it is special, unique but we all know there really is no perfect gift, at least not in this world. In fact, that gift that you religiously sought after may not be remembered months later.

The good and perfect gift from God exceeds temporal value. His is eternal it never loses it’s worth. It is the perfect gift from the Almighty God who is good all the time and any and everything that He gives to us is good and perfect. And the best appreciation we can return to Him is sincere thanks, recognition, and honor for the love he has given us.
