We’re All One in the Same

There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:22b-24There are all kinds of things that divide and scatter us today.   Racial issues, education, wealth or lack thereof, right wing or left wing, progressive versus conservative, citizen vs. alien; you would agree there are many things that prevent fellowship. In fact, religious differences sever us. Clearly this is not what God desires. We’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Roman3:23) which places us all on an equal playing field. No one should feel comfortable exalting him or herself above another. We’ve all made wrong choices and poor decisions but we have been made right through the shed blood of Christ. Jesus’ blood unifies us whereby He sees sinners in need of a Savior. In spite of all of our failings, He loves us which makes us one in the same, sinners saved by grace.
