The Echo of God's Word

“It’s going to be okay, just don’t give up”. “I know it seems difficult right now but it won’t last forever.” “It appears insurmountable but you just need to just hang in there, things will get better”. All well meaning words meant to provide comfort.Just like the environment, life has seasons and from time to time you don’t know what to expect. Storms may rise and then the sun shines, rains come and then rainbows appear, earthquakes disrupt the land and then the earth settles, etc. Hopefully you realize nothing is constant but no matter how bad things get, they won’t last forever.Words can soften the sorrow we experience but God’s word brings comfort and strength. May His word be the echo of your spirit as you put your hope in Him.

Shout for joy, you heavens;rejoice, you earth;burst into song, you mountains!For the Lord comforts his peopleand will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
