Testimonies are Transforming

“When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping. When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it (Mark 16:9-11)”.

Testimonies are our stories of our encounters with God. They are powerful because they show how God has been present and how He delivered you through various circumstances. Some are hesitant to share such encounters because they fear they won’t be believed or feelings of judgement or rejection. But no one can deny a change in your life. Jesus changed Mary Magdalene’s life!

God can do a mighty work in us if we believe and that is the evidence of an ever-present God. Who would not believe a drug addict can put down their habit and clean up their life in a moment in time; Or how God uses past hurts to transform and bring joy? We are witnesses telling our story of a holy God who is faithful and is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above what we could ask, think or imagine.

So whether they believe you or not, tell your story, tell how Jesus saved you, tell how Jesus delivered you, tell how He transformed you, tell of the Lord’s redeeming grace, tell of His goodness and tell how He has changed your life!
