Teamwork
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10“There is strength in numbers” or so the saying goes. It works in business and it works equally as well for people of faith. Corporations are always talking about collaborative work environments and teamwork but it takes people who agree with one another or the outcome could result in disaster.Perhaps you remember the Apostle Paul and John Mark in Acts 15:36-41. Such a sharp disagreement arose that they parted company. Their dispute demonstrates that Christians yes Christians can disagree. When this happens in our churches it slows progress and can if not careful prevent spiritual growth. We’d like to think that believers always agree but we all have different personalities, gifts, and opinions but hopefully we have the same purpose, which is to faithfully serve God!In the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:18, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Following such advice is a most effective way to draw others to Christ!
