Shelter of the Most High
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust (Psalm 91:1-2).”
Who is God to you? Is He a place of safety, the One who keeps you from the hands of your enemy, or is He the situational One who you call on only when in need? Whether you believe it or not, it is easy to limit God out of fear that He may require something from you. It's important to remember that He is the immutable God and possesses the power to do anything and everything, a place to go for deliverance and comfort. So, who wouldn’t want to live in His presence with Him as an Overseer?
Living in the shelter of the Most High is where we find love, peace, protection, forgiveness and compassion. It is the place where unconditional love, grace, and mercy abide, the place where no one is cast out. Cling to the One who is trustworthy and who is always with you.
