Refuge and Strength

“The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.” (Psalm 9:9-10)

It’s hard to stay uplifted when trouble comes but knowing where to turn is the key to obtaining relief. God is a sure place to turn because He knows exactly what you’re going through. Hardship teaches invaluable lessons and getting through them is tough but not impossible. Having someone in your life that you can trust, someone you can truly depend on, you can get through hard times. The Lord is a safe place and has our best interest in tough times.
