Never Stop Praying
“…in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Praying is a most effective way to rid one of anxiety and stress. That does not mean there will be immediate answers to your prayers or that the answer will be one that suits your needs. Nevertheless God says, “man should always to pray and not faint (Luke 18:1)”.Prayer is a means to interact with God not necessarily to change things but to develop a relationship with Him. That relationship results in understanding the circumstances you face in light of God’s will. Prayer will not ultimately change God’s mind. It may result in you relinquishing your will because of your devotion to Him. Such was the Apostle Paul’s condition. He pleaded with God but God didn’t do what he asked instead He reminded Paul that his life was to be lived in service to Him.We need God and He wants us. It is in prayer that our need for Him is demonstrated and His love for us is conveyed.
