Leave the Rest to God
Sometimes God will ask us to do things that make no sense or are seemingly impossible. We question, we reason, we rationalize but it is clear He expects us to do exactly what He asked us to do.It had never rained and God told Noah to build an ark. People thought Noah was foolish especially after seeing the materials needed and the size and shape of the ark. God was going to do something that had never been done before and He was going to use Noah to do it. He gave Noah the structural design including who and what would be housed inside and when to go inside. “Noah did everything just as God commanded him” (Genesis 6:22). After the structure was built he told Noah when to go into the ark and again “…Noah did all that the LORD commanded him” (Genesis 7:5b). And the floodwaters came. There are some things that God asks us to do that on the surface sound outlandish and impossible of achieving success. However our job is not to question how He’s going to get it done but to do as He commands. Noah did what God told him to do no questions asked.God is God of the impossible and there is nothing He cannot do. Our job is to do what He asks of us and leave the rest to Him. You see some tasks require a higher level of responsibility. Noah was capable of building the ark but he wasn’t capable of calling forth rain, but God was. Some things are simply above your pay grade. We neither have the knowledge nor the authority to make it happen but God “is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).When God gives you a command you do your part and leave the rest to Him.
