Hopeful Waiting

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed (Romans 8:18-19).”

Suffering is a part of the human experience. It comes at various times and in different forms. No matter how much you try to avoid it everyone in some way will experience it but suffering and trouble is not the end for those who are in Christ. There is a joy, a glory that will be revealed one day, the day the Lord will call us home where we will be reconciled with Him. This glory is bound in faith, the promise that God has given us through His son.

So, wait, wait hopeful, with and in the full assurance of the promise of God.
