He's Everything

“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16:11Who is God to you? A conquering King, a counselor, a deliverer, a healer, a Waymaker, a guide, a provider, a secure place, a teacher, who or what is He to you?At different places and various times in life He may be one or all of those things but as the psalmist suggests, not only is He all of the above, He is everything. God is his portion and his cup, the one who holds Him together when things are falling apart, when things get tough. And life can get tough but when we follow the path that God leads us it brings satisfaction, more than enough to satisfy our hearts desire.To anyone who has lost their way, Jesus is the way the truth and the life (John 14:6), He is the One who leads us out of darkness, out of the grasp of sin and shows us the sweetness of living for Him. His presence results in inexplicable joy and it is a place we may dwell all the days of our life.We can’t see the future, it is a road a path we have not traveled but Jesus has and may we too yearn to follow that path that leads to peace, security, joy, and gladness, the path that leads to Him.
