He Redeems and Restores

Bible and Scripture.png

“After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God (Acts 1:3).”

Imagine how the disciples felt when Jesus was crucified. Seeing the life of someone you love taken lends itself to extreme sadness and hopelessness. Bereavement is hard especially to those left behind. Loved ones are often left with feelings of anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, and some with thoughts of suicide. Yet, before His crucifixion Jesus reassured them that He would return and He did, revealing Himself to many proving that He is the Messiah, the Son of God. They saw and their faith was renewed. But we too can see Him because He lives in our heart!

If you want to see Christ it begins with establishing a relationship with Christ. It is an act of will and a promise of hope, a promise of eternal life. Simply ask Him into your heart, it’s as easy as a confession of faith and an acknowledgement of sin, asking for His forgiveness and believing that He died for your sins and rose from the dead. That is when He comes alive in your heart redeeming your life and restoring your soul.
