Follow Christ and Find Power

“A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission. When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned. When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, dressed and in his right mind; (Luke 8:32-35a).”

Jesus performed amazing miracles. Throughout the bible we see where He did the seemingly impossible; from walking on water to healing from a distance just at His word. In Luke 8 He healed a demon-possessed man. When that man was healed he didn’t run off instead he is found at the feet of Jesus.

Sitting at Jesus’ feet is where we find the ability to move forward. Feet carry us through life. Jesus’ feet help us to stand when we feel weak, His feet help us to balance life events, to rise in the midst of adversity, to walk and not faint, to run when we are weary.

There isn’t anything the Lord can’t do. Never limit the power found at Jesus’ feet!
