Faith is Vital

Faith is vital when it comes to knowing God. Faith embodies trust and like other relationships no one can fully know another especially as it applies to God. It is faith in Him that anchors us in tough times. Faith in God is about understanding God’s love and believing that His love is real, sincere, and pure. God’s love guides us through the unknown and the unseen and it strengthens our resolve to exercise relentless determination in what we believe.Much like our intake of daily vitamins faith is just as vital as the air we breathe. It nourishes, strengthens and provides energy to whatever you apply it to. Thus faith in God is placing confidence in His promises as we follow Him daily; “And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me (Luke 9:23)”.It goes beyond a feeling it is about knowing God is real and your faith in Him is being activated daily. It is love returned for love that is given. Abraham exercised that kind of faith even when he experienced missteps. He showed that although he couldn’t see what God promised he believed it anyway. He chose faith in what was seemingly impossible in human standards; “Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6)”. That is the kind of faith that God wants us to exercise every day and not just when it’s convenient.May faith in the infallible unwavering word of God be the anchor that holds you steady when the waves of doubt appear:“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain 1 Corinthians 15:58
