Ever Faithful

“In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a revelation was given to Daniel (who was called Belteshazzar). Its message was true and it concerned a great war. The understanding of the message came to him in a vision. At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over.” (Daniel 10:1-3)

Daniel was faithful to God. What we learn from Daniel is that persistence pays off. When Daniel saw impending destruction (via a vision) it brought him great sorrow. It was three weeks and days later before Daniel heard from God and what he heard was both distressing as well as reassuring. Although a vision of destruction was revealed, God sent him a message of a time of restoration and deliverance. Everything we hear from God may not be pleasing to us and may occasionally bring great distress however, God is faithful to His people. #faithjourney #persistence#faith #alwayspray #Godknows #FaithInGod #TrustGodsTiming #Godisfaithful #seethesonrise
