Desires Fulfilled

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4

Trying to deflect hurt into happiness requires letting go of whatever is causing the hurt and focusing on what will alleviate the pain. King David realized that it was aligning his will with the will of God and taking pleasure in Him was when his desires were fulfilled.
