Designated Day

In case you haven’t noticed, every day is being designated to some specific thing. In a brief I found every day in November is designated to something. From vegan day to devil egg day to sandwich day to candy day and more. Who knew? In all of these days of designation not one day was designated to being thankful and celebrating our Lord. After all, isn’t it He who keeps us and sustains us and enables us to experience all of these “designated days”?We can get so caught up with things and stuff that we forget about the spirit of the living God within us and that needs not only a day it needs cultivating everyday.In all of your busyness, designate time for God everyday. Why? Because He loves us!! It doesn’t matter what time it only matters that you take time to spend with Him everyday.O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;my soul thirsts for you;my flesh faints for you,as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,beholding your power and glory.Because your steadfast love is better than life,my lips will praise you.So I will bless you as long as I live;in your name I will lift up my hands.My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,when I remember you upon my bed,and meditate on you in the watches of the night;for you have been my help,and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.My soul clings to you;your right hand upholds me.Psalm 63:1-8
