Go To Battle With Your Armor of God

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:12-13).”

Not many people willingly go into a battle yet there are some battles that can’t be avoided. Whether we accept it or not, Christians are in a battle, a fight of sorts, struggling against the war of the mind, spiritual battles. These battles are more difficult because the enemy isn’t always easily seen.

Putting effort into following godly principles will not go unopposed. Your enemy knows your proclivities, your inclinations (what pulls at you) and wastes no time in using them to pull you down forcing you to contend with what you believe. The Apostle Paul doesn’t say if you wrestle, no, his message is clear, there will be a struggle, you will wrestle however there is an anecdote, a way of defending yourself against the attacks that come.

No one likes to fight but some fights can’t be avoided. Fighting the good fight of faith is worth fighting for!
