A Time to Show Love and Appreciation

"Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you shall keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God (Leviticus 19:3)."

Why do we need a day recognizing mother's? We shouldn't if they were shown appreciation for the role they serve in the life of their children throughout the year. Mothers do a lot and days can be long and exhausting yet it is because of the love they have for their family that they endure. They are a blessing and God ordained the one whom He chose to bring you to life. Whether perfect or imperfect honor the mother God gave you because it is what He commands.

Mother’s Day is not about bearing gifts but about showing love and appreciation.
