A Promised Inheritance

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10“Are you waiting for an inheritance?” Inheritances are based on the planning and the prudence of people who thoughtfully considered the future of their love ones. According to scripture “A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22).” Unfortunately not everyone has such a gift to look forward to but don’t faint fellow laborers. There is an inheritance for those who have worked and loved the Lord.It is right to expect compensation for ones work. The compensation we receive from God is the result of humble tireless workers who work out of the love He has shown and we have received through the sacrifice of His Son promising salvation to all who believe.If you are a faithful laborer in God’s vineyard you can expect an inheritance that no amount of money can compare. Such workers work with the right motive, not for money but out of love. It transcends this life and beats any pension or 401k plans. It is God’s love and faithful planning that has provided an everlasting inheritance!
