Without A Doubt
“Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed (John 20:29).”It is heralded that there is nothing that God can’t do and while that is true It does not mean that He will do whatever we ask whenever we ask. God knows that giving us what we want will not necessarily increase our faith but serve to consistently seek signs to prove His existence.A lot happens once you experience God. The miraculous stories of conversions and healings draw the uncertain and the yet to be convinced to at least consider that maybe just maybe He is real.Asking God to do this or to do that to prove He’s real is operating in what one see’s versus what one believes. God may use the unimaginable to draw you to Himself like the burning bush for Moses, or the defeat of the false prophets through Elijah however that may not be your experience.God draws us to Himself (John 6:65) and He does this through enlightenment. Our natural man can’t dare conceive the things of God. From the very beginning God desired a relationship with humankind but sin severed that relationship. Sin is the darkness that doesn’t allow us to see God. However God is light and to experience that light takes a change of heart. Allowing God’s light to shine through requires the work of the Holy Spirit because He is Spirit. He is to be worshipped not with our natural man but through an enlightened heart.Miracles do strengthen our faith but after the miracle; Trust! Trust the God who has shown Himself over and over again and not just in your life but in the people around you.God is still performing miracles but get to know the God who abides with us; when you this you won’t need a miracle.“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19a).”
