Winning

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” John 12:24“Winning”, a common phrase today but when it comes to Christ winning looks like loosing. Jesus defines winning this way: “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Matthew 16:25-26” Paul said, “I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, That I may win Christ” Philippians 3:8.Winning God’s way is about sacrifice, about caring for the needs of others, about living for Christ, realizing that our life is not our own.
