Wait for His Will
“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD (Psalm 27:14).”Waiting is probably one of the hardest things to do. It’s not surprising especially when we can acquire things so quickly. From our groceries, ordering take out, to on-line retail, you would agree acquiring things is as easy as a touch of a button or a quick phone call. But there are things that aren’t acquired so readily.Waiting for medical test results, a response on a job application, and of greater importance, waiting on God to answer a prayer. We know that God can do anything so why does He make us wait? Maybe He wants us to come together with Him and align with His will. Doing such will make His response easier to accept because when you align with God you are better able to understand and accept His response. There is no can’t with God He is not powerless. It’s an issue that points to His will.God is able to answer all of your prayers but it does not mean you’ll like His response. However take heart in that God wants what’s best for us and sometimes saying “no” is best. “For the Lord will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance (Psalm 94:14).”
