Thanks for God the Deliverer
“I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:1-3)
When we give thanks to God we are not only recognizing who He is but also giving recognition of what He has done.
When you explore the lives of those who rendered thanks to God you will find that their lives were not always easy and yet, they appreciated the relationship they had with Him. David before becoming king of Israel was a wanted man. King Saul often sought to kill him yet God delivered him from every attempt on his life.
David’s life exemplifies having a relationship with God does not exempt you from trouble but that in the midst of trouble, God will be there.
In everything give thanks. For it is the will of God for you!
