Stay the Course

“You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.” Galatians 5:7-8Christians have goals but the number one goal all Christians should aspire to is to be more like Christ every day. It is easy to get off track and if not careful you will derail your own success.The Galatians had somehow fallen back into old ways of thinking and doing. They had received the truth but unfortunately there were those who came along with persuasive arguments causing them to question the truth they’d received thus reverting back to previous held beliefs and behaviors.Achieving God sized goals requires God sized faith based on His view of success. Just like the Galatians we too can shift our focus from what is the truth. It is God who gives the formula to achieve His purposes the ones He set forth. He gives the power through the Holy Spirit to encourage you when others attempt to cut in on you to derail your path. It is Satan who cuts in to cheat you out of the God given grace to succeed, to win.So, stay the course, run hard, don’t lose your momentum, keep looking ahead and you will achieve the goals God has established.
