Sing A Joyful Noise of Thanks

"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts him. I was helped, my heart rejoiced, and I thank him with my song.” — Psalm 28:7

There is something about singing that brightens a day and lifts a spirit. Singing releases feel good chemicals to our brain, it makes us feel good and triggers a sense of happiness. But did you know that the Lord also sings? He sings over His people. He isn’t this rigid task master as some have portrayed, no, He loves His children: “The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).” So today, sing a song of thanks for all that God has done.
