Praise for Answered Prayer

“I will extol the LORD at all times;his praise will always be on my lips.I will glory in the LORD;let the afflicted hear and rejoice.Glorify the LORD with me;let us exalt his name together.I sought the LORD, and he answered me;he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant;their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,and he delivers them.”Psalm 34:1-7Answered prayer results in exuberant praise to God and serves as a reminder of the benefits and blessings of belonging to Him. The psalmist in psalm 34 testifies of God’s presence and how God heard Him when he was in trouble. Attributed to David when he feigned madness before Abimelech (1 Samuel 21), this psalm is a reminder that whatever you face, God is able to deliver you. David didn’t keep this deliverance to himself, he shared it in this psalm providing hope to those facing similar and same circumstances. The bible is filled with countless testimonies, evidence of the presence of God and of His divine power. Hearing the testimonies of others encourages our faith and helps us to know God better. Knowing that God doesn’t make distinctions based on social status, gender, or otherwise is an invitation to seek Him. God not only heard David’s cry but He delivered him from whatever vexed his soul.Life presents many opportunities to cry out to God who will not fail us. Take a note from David’s life, God’s eye is on the righteous and He delivers us from all of our troubles. “So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me (Hebrews 13:6)”.”
