Let's Get It Done

“Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5Last week we celebrated the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Some of you may have already torn down the Christmas decorations and already beginning to think about transitioning into the New Year. The New Year is an opportunity to make a fresh start, to reset the clock, to begin again. Setting goals that make life better is worth the effort. Setting objectives that enrich life motivate us to accomplish things that matter. There are lots of things we can improve on but in order to achieve success you can’t rely on willpower. Willpower suggests that you have the endurance to achieve something you have never done before. But some objectives need more than just willpower they need supernatural power and that power comes from God.If you really want to achieve the goals you set make sure they align with what God wants for you. Remember your life is not your own, you belong to God and your life’s desire should be to please Him. He knew you before you were born:“My frame was not hidden from youwhen I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw my unformed body;all the days ordained for me were written in your bookbefore one of them came to be.” Psalm 139:15-16He knows your full purpose and consulting Him is imperative if you want to experience success. Let this year be one filled with God inspired triumph.
