Knowing God's Will

You have to make a decision, how do you know if it’s from God or from Satan? First, it is good when decisions are godly focused but it requires knowing God’s nature. I’m reminded of the scripture In John 3:6-7; “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”Through natural birth we take on the qualities and the features of our birth parents. It is through spiritual birth that we are able to understand and discern the will of God. Our spiritual nature enables us to know when God is speaking, what pleases Him, and how we should live our lives. If you have truly been born again, God speaks clearly because you now not only have taken on His nature but His spirit now lives in you to help you.“Let your heart therefore be wholly true to the LORD our God, walking in his statutes and keeping his commandments,... (1 Kings 8:61a).”
