“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).Faith and hope are intertwined. Faith is the strong belief in something or someone while hope is the feeling of expectation that something will happen. Joining our belief in God acknowledges Him as the all-knowing Creator of all things and in control of all things and because of this we are placing our confidence in His ability to do anything. If we are pleasing God we are seeking the things that satisfy His will. When we understand that our lives no longer belong to us it is the realization that we are to be in full surrender to God. “Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified” Galatians 5:24).God seeks those who are trustworthy, honest, and faithful. Those are the ones who will reap His reward. “My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me” (Psalm 101:6).
