Just Say Yes

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).”God has planned our life and yet when He asks us to do difficult tasks we question Him; “are you sure you want me to do this”, “do I have the skills”, “did I misunderstand You”, “did I hear you right Lord”? And if we don’t question then we reason; “I’m not capable”, “they won’t listen to me”, “Can you choose someone else”, “I’m to old for this”, “I don’t have the strength”, “I’ve lived a reckless life”. When God asks us to do something He is fully aware of our capabilities.When Moses died the Lord called Joshua to lead the children of Israel to the Promised Land. He not only commanded him to the role of leadership He also encouraged Joshua with a promise, “the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”.When God calls you to a task He doesn’t send you out alone. All He asks of you is to just say yes!
