He Understands

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12)

There's a difference between someone watching you and someone watching over you. The Lord’s eyes are open to the upstanding, those who walk upright, whose heart and mind are fixed on what is right. However, to those who do evil, not so. It may look like evil is winning especially when it appears they are immediately rewarded but trust there is a greater reward for doing good. When you are obedient to God’s word and live as He has called you to live, you need not worry about those who do misdeeds.
