He Answers Prayer
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer (Matthew 21:22)."We ask God for so many things but how often do you thank Him when your prayer has not been answered? Having expectations encourages us and stimulates hope but it can take some time before that hope is manifested in real life. The gospel of Mark 11:24 gives us a reason to thank God before you see it; “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.” Making petitions to God through prayer is a privilege however faith must accompany that prayer which should then lead to thanksgivings.Faith is the cornerstone of our Christian belief. Through prayer we demonstrate our confidence in Christ and our prayers (if we adhere to the word) are centered in what God wants for us. Jesus teaches us how to pray and when we’re in tune with Him we will pray His desire (See Matthew 6). Praying as Jesus taught focuses on the kingdom of God, God’s care, and spiritual acts and should be the foundation of our prayers to Him. Praying in this manner is most assuredly the key to getting your prayers answered.Praying is the opportunity to spend time with God and the more time you spend with Him the more you will come to know Him. It (prayer) leads to deeper communion, deeper fellowship, and hopefully greater love for Him. So, don’t stop praying but after you’ve prayed, begin to give Him thanks for the assuredness and certainty of answered prayer.
