God’s Words Can Transform The Mind

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:1-2).”

There is such a thing as positive feedback and negative feedback and these are the backdrops of what has a tendency to shape an individual. Echoes of positive and negative communication influence who you are and or who you become, it’s all in what you’re hearing and how you translate it. But even in the worst of circumstances, God can turn what you hear as you yield to His shaping and His ability to make you over again. You just have to change the way you think.

If you really want to change, to renew your mind, begin by asking the Lord to come into your mind, into your thinking and reasoning and to rid yourself of thoughts that minimize who you are and any words that were spoken to tear you down. Begin to gravitate to His word because His words are all that matters and that wields the power to change.

“The bible was not given for our information but for our transformation.” Dwight L. Moody
