God Will Take Care of You
“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope (Romans 15:4).”Not to far in the distant past (some approximately 3 weeks ago) there was never enough time to get things done. Fast forward and here we are with a lot of time on our hands. Unable to bustle about with the things that were once perceived vital, now we’ve been relegated to the confines of home and family. It is clear through the events of the last several weeks that we don’t know what tomorrow will bring but it’s important to know who holds tomorrow. This recent upheaval has certainly caused uncertainty but it need not cause dismay. When you know that God is right in the midst of what you’re going through, what we’re going through, it should bring peace and steadfast hope; hope in our God who is faithful. So in the words of one the Great Hymns of the Church;“Be not dismayed wate’er betide,God will take care of you!Beneath His wings of love abide,God will take care of you!God will take care of you,Through every day o’er all the way’He will take care of you;God will take care of you!”
