God Has What You Need

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).”Extroverts are probably screaming right now as they consider the inability to do some of the things they enjoy like engaging with other people, and attending huge gatherings, while introverts are happily listening to their headphones, enjoying time alone and the mandated solitude, and recharging in the forced confinement. In this anxiety prone time it’s important that both groups are able to find the balance needed to get through what feels like captivity and faith plays an important part in both groups being okay. This is a great opportunity to hear the word of God at various times and at various churches via television, radio, live stream Facebook, zoom etc. Maybe your church does not have the capabilities to do so but there are other churches you can tune into to take care of your spiritual and mental needs. The church is a body of believers and if they are preaching Christ, and Christ crucified, it is a message that can fuel whatever longings, anxieties or frustrations you may have.Don’t succumb to anxiety or depression but take this time of social distancing and draw close to Christ. There’s no fear of contamination with Him. There is only love, deliverance, peace, and reassurance. Trust me, it’s going to be all right.
