Everyday is New

“The LORD said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, “This month shall be for you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year for you.” Exodus 12:1-2

Who doesn’t like a do over? That is exactly what the Children of Israel received. After their deliverance from captivity, God gave them a new beginning. It was a demonstration of change, an opportunity to forget the past and to start over again. And He offers us that same opportunity, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17. No matter how far you have drifted away from God, He is willing and able to give you a new start.
