Discipleship

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

If you’re a person that doesn’t like others telling you what to do, then this passage of scripture could be hard to swallow. However, when the person giving the instruction is trustworthy and proven Himself time and time again, it would compel one to follow their instruction.

In His few short years on earth Jesus did many great works and as His disciples He has given us the power to do even greater. “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father (John 14:12). If we follow His plan, it can change the world! #DisciplesOfChrist #Jesus #power #disciples #expectation #lifechangers #believe #GodtheFather #Hope #seethesonrise
