Christian Workers Rewards
“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain 1 Corinthians 15:58).”
Good workers seek approval and with such approval comes more responsibility and more autonomy. Others work hard for prestige and awards, to climb the corporate ladders. But what about working for God? What can one expect from Him? Is there any expectation of reward? Yes, but not based on the world's standard.
No matter what job you have it is an opportunity to represent Christ. It may not be fulfilling or pay you what you think you’re worth but remember you’re not seeking human approval for it is God who gives the ultimate reward! Christians are often found in areas where their vocation doesn’t line up with their values but that doesn’t mean that you put forth less effort.
Brothers and sisters working for the Lord is an ultimate reward and where you can experience the real meaning of “job satisfaction”.
